What the refresh changed

The name

Juniper is the internal project code for the Model Y refresh that reached buyers through 2025. The 2026 U.S. car is that generation.

The face

New front and rear fascias. Premium and up wear the full-width slim front light bar. Standard keeps LED headlamps without that bar. The refreshed tail light bar is the other tell.

The cabin

Retuned suspension, more isolation, and a revised dash, door cards, and console. Premium adds ventilation, a rear screen, HEPA, and the panoramic glass roof on public lists.

The ladder

Standard trims sit under a renamed Premium line. On May 16, 2026 Tesla raised Premium by $1,000 and Performance by $500. Standard pricing held.

The L

A longer six-seat Model Y, not a squeezed seven-seat. Orders July 2, 2026. First U.S. deliveries September 2026.
